The Woodside Nippers All Abilities Program is designed to make our popular Woodside Nippers program even more accessible.

For children aged 5 and above with diverse needs and abilities, the program is based around enjoyment, social interaction, water and beach familiarisation, and physical activity, adapted to the unique learning needs of its participants.

Our All Abilities Nippers participate in the same activities as regular age group Nippers, including beach safety lessons, swimming, and board skills, improving their fitness and coordination, and increasing their confidence through physical activity and learning.

The program focuses on creating an inclusive environment. Run alongside a club’s regular Woodside Nippers program, all participants will receive their own Woodside Nippers uniform, including high-vis vest and cap, ensuring a feeling of inclusion and belonging.

In 2025/26, the following West Australian Surf Life Saving Clubs will be delivering a Woodside Nippers All Abilities program:

Albany
Alkimos
Busselton (Starfish Nippers)
Champion Bay
Coogee Beach (Starfish Nippers)
Esperance Goldfields
Floreat

Mandurah (Starfish Nippers)
Quinns Mindarie
Scarboro
Secret Harbour
Sorrento
Trigg Island

The State Government, through the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, is a major supporter of Surf Life Saving WA and the All Abilities Inclusive Surf Sport Program.
