All children aged 5 to 12 that wish to participate in Woodside Nippers must complete a Preliminary Evaluation.

Preliminary Evaluations

The Preliminary Evaluations are in place to ensure that participants are fit and able to meet the requirements of the Woodside Nippers Program.

The evaluations consist of a swim/glide and survival float component which may be conducted at the beach or in a pool (see table below for each age group requirement). Your club may utilise third-party sign offs provided they are from a registered Learn to Swim provider. In this situation parents will need to provide evidence of the highest swimming level completed by their child in the form of a certificate.

Your club will advise you of their process regarding preliminary evaluation.
